Possibly the best quarterback of all time

He holds the record for Super Bowl appearances, Super Bowl victories, Super Bowl MVPs, and is possibly, the best quarterback of all time. This is Tom Brady.

He was born in 1977 in San Mateo, California

Growing up, Brady often attended San Francisco 49ers games, watching famed quarterback Joe Montana. In high school, he excelled both at football and baseball. At 18, Brady started playing college football at the University of Michigan. In 2000, he was selected by the New England Patriots as the 199th overall pick in the 6th round of the NFL draft.

His first Super Bowl

At 24, Brady won his first Super Bowl title with the Patriots against the St. Louis Rams — then won the title again in 2004 and 2005. At 32, he married supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The couple have 2 kids, and Brady has a son from a previous relationship. Bundchen and Brady are among the world’s highest-paid couples.

In 2016, the deflategate scandal shook the NFL

Brady was accused of knowing about the deliberate deflation of footballs in a Patriots victory against the Indianapolis Colts. After a 4-game suspension over the cheating scandal, Brady returned to win that season’s Super Bowl LI. At 39, he became the first quarterback to take home 5 Super Bowl rings — surpassing his idol, Montana, and Terry Bradshaw.

At 41, Brady participated in his ninth Super Bowl and won his sixth title

In March 2020, Brady announced that he is leaving the Patriots, after a 21-year tenure — the longest in NFL history. “I never imagined any of this, I mean I never in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine, you know, having all these opportunities, I'm just very blessed I've been to do some, been a part of really great teams to get to this point.”, Brady stated.
